Featuring a host of upgraded components designed to boost durability and ease of use, Polaris has added the Sportsman 570 EPS Agri Pro quad to its 2021 line up.
The Agri Pro edition features the Polaris Ride Command App, included for the first time on a Sportsman model. Via GPS, operators can program the quad’s speed limiter with the use of geofencing technology. The manufacturer says maximum speeds can be set for inside a geofenced area and another for outside. It adds that for low-speed tasks such as mowing, towing, or spraying, speed can also be restricted, giving more control of the quad while carrying out tasks.
Equipped with 12 inch steel wheels with 25 inch Carlisle tyres, metal front and rear racks are also included. Bodywork is available in Sage Green plastics.
Electric power steering and a new engine braking system (EBS) come as standard with the Agri Pro spec. EBS has been developed to allow a more controlled ride over a wider range of terrain, helped by a new clutch for smoother engagement at lower speeds.
The rest of the Sportsman 570 range has also been updated with a new design, including a new handlebar-mounted pod with an integrated LED work light and built-in battery charging port. LED headlights with built-in indicators and new body shape with sharper, more aggressive lines complete the aesthetic changes.
Models boast a towing capacity of 680kg, 296mm of ground clearance and a total payload capacity of up to 232kg.
Battery capacity has increased to 18Ah, giving 78 per cent more ‘cold cranking’ amps and has been relocated underneath the front rack for easy access.
In addition, the manufacturer has included new components for extra durability including sealed suspension bushings, improved brake lines and A-Arms, as well as a fully sealed ignition switch.
