Veenhuis has expanded its Premium Tank range, designed for wet conditions, with the introduction of the 15,850 litres capacity Premium Quad-Shift.
Minimising ground pressure, the concept uses four wheels (620/80 R42), mounted in a single axle configuration. The axle can also be extended by 650mm on either side, pushing the outer most wheels onto untravelled ground, increasing stability and reducing compaction, says the manufacturer.
The manufacturer adds there is less soil disruption compared to traditional axle configurations, which can scuff when turning. Each wheel has independent suspension through a hydraulic pendulum setup. Veenhuis adds single axle tanks are still a popular option for manoeuvrability.
Tanks are available with a rotary lobe or vacuum pump for filling and distribution and can be equipped with a short suction arm or with a swivelling suction arm on the right side of the tank. As standard, IsoBus control, proportionally adjustable coulter pressure regulation from the cab and automatic dosage control are part of the basic specifications of this machine.
In addition, the firm’s NutriFlow sensor is an option, allowing for real time analysis of the slurry and dosing to a predetermined nutrient.
